Avant

The Problem

A large commercial real estate firm lacked clarity on the deal transaction data that was being traded hands by dozen of employees. They needed a clear and concise system to help them record, edit, and scrub a variety of data sources that helped their clients make well-informed decisions. Along with their data issues, their employees were spending thousands of hours on duplicate work and there was no mobile optimization.

The Solution

After I understood the overarching problem a bit more, I focused on bringing order to the design side of the team. I established a new UX/UT process, including introducing and leading Discovery Calls with the client, Internal Product Design meetings, and pre-development meetings with the entire team. I was also able to design the Site Architecture, User Flows, and User Personas, while also establish Unmoderated Usability Testing when the product rolled out to live users.

The Outcome

The MVP rollout was a success and quickly adopted a variety of users throughout their company. User feedback started rolling in and users found the system to helpful and intuitive. Over a year after the launch of the product, the user base has grown substantially and has been heavily adopted by users. Avant has gone on to lead client pitches and continues to scale into a full-service broker platform.
